Changing the of volume of VLC through the remote has no effect anymore.
I can move it from 0 - 400% and it will stay there for about 3s, and then reset to whatever the volume VLC is set on my computer. If I change the volume in VLC from my keyboard it reflects in the remote, but I can't change it from that.
I'm using VLC version 2.0.0 and remote version 5.52. I'm on a first gen iPod touch version 3.1.3

worth updating to the latest version of the remote, but my guess is that there is something else which is changing the volume. Do you have any other remote running???

that did it, sorry, I thought I had updated all my apps, I guess I missed that one.
