Playlist empty

I have an HTC Desire HD (Android) connecting to Windows XP. Your program has worked perfectly until recently when all of a sudden it has stopped showing the content of the playlist. The content is still there as because if I try and add a file from a folder, it starts to play what would be the first file in the playlist. It also shows how far the video has played and the volume control works.

I think the problem started after I restarted my HTC phone and I have stopped and started VLC again and killed your app on my phone and restarted phone and computer again but I just cannot get the playlist to show anymore.

Can anyone help with this problem please?

there does seem to be a bug with vlc 2.0 showing files with . in the name

are you using vlc 2.00?

Thanks for the reply. I am using version vlc 0.9.8a (it's the only one I can get working with TV as a second monitor).

I've played around and uninstalled both vlc and the remote, and managed to get it working with the playlist showing again. Still not sure what caused it but hopefully it doesn't happen again.

I'm afraid you're on your own with a VLC that old.

I have no idea what changed - but we won't be making efforts to fix things for ancient vlc versions either.
