Cannot add files since upgrade

Postby WildNat » February 26th, 2012, 4:40 pm

Hi,

I have upgraded VLC to the latest version, TwoFlower, and can no longer add files via my iPhone. When I attempt to add and play a file I get the following error message from VLC:

filesystem error: cannot open file FILENAME&option=:sout-keep :sout= (Invalid argument)
main error: open of `file:/// FILENAME&option=:sout-keep :sout=#transcode{acodec=mp3}:duplicate{dst=display{delay=3000},dst=gather:std{mux=mpeg1,dst=:8080/stream,access=http},select="novideo"}' failed

I am running Windows 7, and iOS 5.0.1 on an iPhone 4. I have uninstalled and reinstalled VLC, and redownloaded the set up helper to ensure it was the latest version.

Can you offer any advice?

Thanks :)

sounds like you have the experimental headset mode turned on. Try turning that off and it should work.
