10.7 issue

hi,
on 10.6 it works great - i can shutdown my "miniserver" without any problems.

on 10.7 lion says "there are another user online" and it forced me to quit manualy not via off remote.

that means i must click on the button on the mac.

the counter on iphone and ipad is on zero - and it give the shut down comand to my mini.

but the dialog must be confirmed...

is there an newer version of "off-helper"?

made i something wrong?

i use a mac mini with 10.7.2 and the actual off-helper and off remote...

another user has reported this - but I can't replicate it on my macbook running lion.

perhaps a dumb question - but is there another user logged into the machine?

when you do a manual shutdown, does it give you any kind of warning about other users?

Yes - i use the macmini as itunes Server for My iphone's ipod's iPad ans MacBook pro

I Start the macmini Manually - Abs want to Shut Down Unsing Off-Remote.

In 10.6 it Works-Since 10.7 no longer

Apple has change something ...

Is there an woraround?

I don't know if there is a fix - but this gives me something to work with anyway.

my guess is that the lion security policy isn't going to let me issue a command which says 'shut down this user and all other users' - but I might be wrong!

thanks for the observation, and I'll update the helper to see if closing the window automatically just before the shutdown helps.

watch out for updates...
